Overview
Because Marketscape CRM contains confidential HIPAA protected information, it also includes a security setting whereby all users are logged out on a fixed period. The time period for that log out (or time out) on the Web application can be decided upon and modified by an account administrator.
The time-out for Marketscape Mobile is 24 hours.
Changing the Web Time-out period
In the left navigation, click on the "Settings" button.
Click on the "System Setup" link in the Setup section.
Click on the "web" dropdown. The four options are shown in the image below - 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
Once you have made a selection, click the "Save Timeout Settings" button.
Marketscape Mobile
Since mobile users access the application frequently but sporadically throughout the day, the longer time out of 24 hours provides fewer interruptions. However, since HIPAA information is contained within the mobile app, we strongly suggest that mobile users enable auto-lock on their device and have a password or Touch ID setup to unlock their device.
