Overview
In Marketscape CRM, a "View" is a collection of filters and settings that defines which metrics are visible in the table for a specific tab (Accounts, Contacts, or Referrals) and how the table is displayed, e.g. order of columns and sorting.
One "View" that is valuable for understanding referral patterns is a view that limits entries in the table to referrals aligned to a single, specific sales territory.
In your company's sales territory hierarchy, sales territories might be called branches, offices, counties, or teams. The example below is from a company that uses "Sales Territory" to define their sales territory.

Creating a sales territory specific View
If you duplicate a view that already specifies the metrics you want to display in the table, you will only need to change settings in Step 1 and Step 4. Otherwise, you will need to set up all steps.
Step 1 - Create a name that identifies the sales territory for easy identification.
For this example we named our "View" All Referrals - Hburg/York since our sales territory is the area around Harrisburg and York, PA.
Step 4 - Set an advanced filter criteria
- The Field will be whatever your sales territory hierarchy names Tier 1 in your settings. In our sample company, they are called "Sales Territory."
- The Operator must be "equals."
- For Value we select the sales territory we want to display in our new view.
