Overview
You can perform "Dynamic Reporting" when you customize reports to include columns of data you want to see, and remove columns of data you don't need to see. Dynamic field reporting provides flexibility and adaptability unlike static reports that are fixed and unchangeable. You can expand reports by adding fields from accounts, contacts, events, and expenses.

- Click on the "Reporting" button in the left navigation
- Open the report you want to customize
- Click on the "Columns" dropdown found in the options
- Select or deselect any columns of your choice
- Run the report!!
- Voila!

Add/Remove Columns
Navigate to a Report
The first step is to open a report of interest.
Use the following image to review the steps for finding and opening a report.

Report Search - If you know the name of the report you want to view, type part of the name in the search field to find the report quickly.
Example - for this article, we will use the Daily Visit Report. Click on the report name to open the report.
Browse - There are lots of reports. Feel free to scroll down to find a report of interest.
Report basics
With the report you want to customize open,
Multiple Settings - these setting allow a user to set a number parameters to limit the reports that appear in the table. Date ranges, account, visit status, territories, etc. This article only digs in on the last setting. Please review articles on specific articles to learn about these settings
"Columns" dropdown - This is the feature that will allow you to customize the selected report.
- Click on the "Columns: Show/Hide" dropdown
The dropdown opens. For the sake of viewing, we have broken the image of the metrics shown in the dropdown and placed sections side by side.
For this example, we have unchecked Time In, Time Out, and Address 2, and checked Visit Frequency, Added Date, and Completed Date.
Run Report - Once you have made any changes, click the "Run Report" button.
Our Custom Report - If you look at the image below, you can see the columns that we added to the report.
You can't see the columns we removed from the report, because... they're gone.
Final Notes
At the top of the page are some interesting and useful buttons
- Back - Click this button to navigate back to the Reports page. If you have created a custom report, don't go back until you have clicked the "Save As..." button!

Save As... - Clicking this button will open a dialog box that will allow you to save your customized report.
- The following interface will open.

- Type in a name that will help you to remember what is in the report when you see it in the future.
- Click the "Save" button to save your custom report.
- The report will then show up on the Reporting page under the "My Saved Reports" section of the page (next image)
- Export CSV - Export the report as a .CSV file to use in Excel
- Export PDF - Export the report as a .PDF file
- Print - Print the report.
