Password Expiration:
To keep PlayMaker Spark accounts secure, user passwords will expire once every 120 days. Once signed into their account, users will be prompted to enter a new password before being able to continue using PlayMaker.
This password change can be temporary if the user prefers to use the same password. Once users have logged in, they are able to change their password to a previous password by following the instructions in this article: Changing your password.
Note: As indicated in the above screenshot, PlayMaker Spark passwords need to be at least 8 characters long and contain at least 3 of the following: Uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, special characters (e. g. @#$%*&!).
Locked Accounts:
Another added piece of security is the ability for an account to become locked after five consecutive failed login attempts. These attempts can be a combination of occurring while attempting to login on the mobile app or on the web. After the account become locked, users can unlock their account by completing a password reset or by contacting support.
Note: The only way to maintain your current password when your account becomes locked is to contact our support team.
